For the first time in the history of my blog, I am PROUD to write a review about a film that my former classmate and friend SHAHAUB ROUDBARI directed and starred in.  “Stalled” is a hysterical action-comedy short film about Chinese terrorists trying to prepare a bomb in an airport bathroom and inadvertently running into an Arab-American man who was in one of the stalls.  The tenacious protagonist decides to put a stop to it not so much because of wanting to save his life and everyone else in the airport but to keep from being stereotypically branded as the bomb maker.

Short and sweetly put: this film that runs just north of six minutes that has a very impressive and intricate fight sequence, hilarious dialogue, a very talented cast that gives obvious homages to “24” in both it’s editing style and dialogue.
