First Shot of Michael Fassbender in Costume For “Assassin’s Creed” Movie
The saying goes: a picture is worth a thousand words. You’ve got my attention now. Michael Fassbender is set to play the title role in the upcoming “Assassin’s Creed” movie set for a December 2016 release. Based on the extremely successful video game franchise, “Assassin’s Creed” has it all. Time travel heavily sprinkled with historical (not so) fiction events about a man who is the descendant of some of the most sociological important brotherhood of assassins in history. Still nothing is known about the plot or what time period it will be set in. The game has bounced around from the time period of King Arthur, to the Italian Renaissance, to The American Revolution, and more.
No word on if the script will follow the timeline of one of the game(s) and start at the time of King Arthur and the Knights Templar, or if it will be in one of the other time periods that the older games have taken place in, or maybe an entirely new and original time period and story. Either way, this first production shot certainly has enormous potential and floods my imagination.
